Top Defense Official trying to mess with CBNsat

*** We received the following as comment and it tallies with the Daily Mirror Report that is posted below this one.

savecbnsat Says :
It is known to us the interested party who holds a high position in the defense circles (all of you know who) have got another high ranking government defense official relating to the president to order DIG Colombo to search CBNSat premises again.

He had told the police to search and find anything to delay CBNSat restarting operations. The top police official have told that because of the court order they can't harass CBNSat any further. These corrupt goons have blasted the top police official to do whatever possible to stop CBNSat recommencing transmission.

I think this country will be a hell with these idiots in top chairs. They are using "National Security" as a cover up to run down their competitors. Look what they have done to CBNSat. They got the CID to close up a successful legal business approved by the government to close for 6 months without any valid reason.

Now even after the Supreme Court judgement these crooks are not willing to give up on their dirty tricks.

If these dogs think that we do not know anything they should know that we are closely watching the situation. We know what you are up to.

We will keep the masses knowledged of what you dogs are doing. If you do not stop your dirty tricks towards CBNSat you will rot to death !!!!!!!

----------------------------------------------------------------

It looks like these people who are behind this scenario are still continuing their dirty tricks. These people who hold senior posts in the Defense circles are supposed to be serving the nation, rather they seem to be making use of those positions for their advantage.

How can we trust the security of this nation on highly corrupted people like this, PLEASE SACK THEM FROM THESE POSTS IMMEDIATELY.

Nothing to worry about the threats. Surely CBNSat having some technical issues.
There web site also updated mentioning the victory. As soon as they finish their technical uplinking processes they will start the transmission.

Are there any lawyers on this blog who can write a nice letter with all the facts(upon verification, of course)? We can use it to spread the word around on what is actually going on with the CBN case.
We can also send that letter to the media, with a sinhala translation too. We really need to act soon to do our part to safeguard our rights as citizens and subscribers.
Whoever can help with this should get in touch with Lisura.

Wonder what will happen to LBN? Since it is now very clear what the reason for CBNSat closure was, even LBN will not be allowed to transmit, as they are also a competitor for SHITNET.

as Wait till win said cbnsat had updated their website. but nothing mentioned about resuming transmision.

In every person who comes near you look for what is
good and strong;
honor that; try to imitate it, and your faults will
drop off like dead leaves when their time comes.

Cbn lawyers ensured that lbn is shat down. After all they were very happy that, after getting the approval still in mystery…

Check the 'Thank You' notice in CBN Sat web site.

http://www.cbnsat.com/notice.htm

It says 'We are back on Air'.

Does this mean that they have started transmission?

Yes, Meth, its very interesting to the fabricated issues related to the industry. Cbn / Lbn were in the active business with 30000 customer base. They were denied the licenses. Nevertheless Dialog with out a single customer was granted the licenses. No one could really analyze the situation. THIS IS A COUNTRY APPROVE THE BUDGET WITH OUT KNOWING THE CONTENT OF IT. All the very best.

Guys

Most of you should have received a letter from the subscriber unite. Its a short and sweet, to the point, appeal. Please act soon and forward it to as many as possible. Please send it to your friends and family abroad too. Let them also be informed of what is going on in mother Lanka.

Please..Please.. Act soon. This is how we as subscribers can help out CBNSat, and most importantly for justice to prevail in this land. As you know, some of the so called "Defenders of the COuntry" are running this society to the dogs. We can at least be proud that we tried to stop it.

You can even take print outs and hang it up in your office.(only if you are allowed to do that in your office).
Please feel free to translate it to Sinhala too and distribute it.

Thanks

I have very RELIABLE confirmation from a very senior person at Dialog Telekom that CBNSAT will only commence transmission after all the assets of CBNSAT has been officially transferred to Asset Media Ltd. He is unable to give a date, which is understandable in the context of the issues already faced.

In the light of all the nefarious issues that the management of CBNSAT is facing, I am of the view that this is the best option for all CBNSAT customers as it very unlikely that the government will want to mess about with TELEKOM Malaysia.

I think that CBNSAT should give wide publicity in all media about the problems they are facing and should also talk to the various chambers of commerce who are powerful lobby houses.

No purpose will be served in shouting here….must go public. After all it’s in the best interest of all media establishments in Sri Lanka.

Actually all thanks and credit to the administrator of the Subscriber Unite who got the letter together very quickly.
I am just the messenger doing my bit.
