Mr. Muhunthan - Good Bye and Good Luck

It has come to our notice than Mr. Muhunthan Canagey CEO of CBNsat will be vacating his post on Saturday 02nd December 2006.

He is the pioneer of DTH broadcasting in Sri Lanka and will be remembered as the man who brought cable TV in Sri Lanka to the villages and the city without any bias whatsoever.

He had such a great vision for this country with the plan to introduce distant learning, etc which would have definitely been very beneficial to the rural areas and also help in bridging the digital divide.

Though all the false allegations that were thrown against you, still you fought tooth and nail against these extremist forces and made sure that CBNsat will be back on air and gave Sri Lanka her most advanced satellite broadcasting station. Sri Lanka is definitely proud to have a son of the soil of your calibre and even though there may be some who do not acknowledge how valuable you were to this nation. We will never forget the service that you did for this country.

Hats off to you Mr. Muhunthan we SALUTE you and wish you and your family all the very best in your future endeavors.

We feel really sorry about this country. All the good peole leave it. Only buggers and bloody motherfuckers are left in all positions. How can we see a good future.
Anyway as true srilankans we are really proud of you. You are the person who show us the path to future. A real infotainment for the people who tired watching terrible dramas like shanthi, mahagedara etc...
You are the person who made the path to this technology living in a country which is still govern by people of 70's.
Several times this mother nation has shown us that greatness does not lie beneath your nationality. It depends on your heart & brain. All the people who try to bankrupt you are the real enemy's of this motherland. It all of our duty to kick them out from all those positions and allow people like Muhunthan who have the vision for this poor country to come with new ideas.
I'm really feel sad about the president too. He really shown some justice at times by taking some brave disicions. But being the brother of such a bloody guy, we cannot keep any more faith on him.

Anyway...Mr.Muhanthan....Thank you very much for your contribution for this country. We are really proud of people like you.

Mr, Muhanthan,

Wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Also, a Big THANK YOU for bringing in cutting edge technology to Sri Lanka and entertaining over 100,000 people in Sri Lanka.

We need more people like you in Sri Lanka. But, I am not sure whether we will have any such person in few years if the country is headed by brainless people.

I wonder where are those people who were talking about LTTE funding and other rumours for CBNSat are now? Bloody liars. I remember one guy who said that CBNSat cost Rs.13 billion or something to start. If Dialog got it for Rs. 500 million, that must be the deal of the century in SL!

If they really believed the things they were saying, I hope they realize what idiots they were.

Also I think we can say the fact the Mr M leaving and the tranmissions starting at the same time show that there were threats to him, saying don't start. Obviously once Dialog are there these buggers don't have the balls to mess with them.
