The Ministry of Defense is to give it's decision on CBNsat today. Well at least that is what was said at the last Supreme Court hearing. In another two days it will be three months since CBNsat was shutdown.
We hope that the MoD will give a favourable decision today taking into consideration the plight of the over 20,000 subscribers of CBNsat and over 300 staff members. We also have unconfirmed reports that the MoD will give it's decision on LBN also today which was postponed from its original date of Sep 1st.
We would like our readers to keep us updated on the decision by the MoD as well as any other information on CBNsat.

We have to go for the last push guys! There’s no point trying to put the responsibility on others.
We have to get organized in a more orderly way.
This is where I praise JVP. Although they act headless they have the strength to mobilize their carders for any occasion at any time.
We can be like them or at least try it once for god sake. On the other hand, what have got to lose??
There is some hope of setting the President straight and getting him away from these guys who are poisoning him every day.
There was a nice article recently in the papers about the Daily News Editor being removed by Priyadarshana Yapa. The Editor was appointed by the President himself. When he found out about it, he immediately ordered the reinstatement of the Editor(through the influence of one of the Rajapaksa brothers).
The way I look at it is, if we convince the President enough, he may go against the wishes of his goondas(Huluballa and others)and do what is right for its citizens.
Then again, I may be living in la..la...land. In that case, I just need to wake up and smell the coffee.
Hey its worth the try. We got nothing more to loose.
Its bloody frustrating!! I dont drink. Maybe I should start drinking to get over the fact that I cant watch some quality TV.
cbnsat web site is back online.
