Lisura,
Please convert this to PDF and publish it here or upload it to somewhere and give us the URL. I want to make some hard copies of it. PDF is more clearer than image files.

Dear Administrator

As I mentioned in an earlier email, I have a confirmed source that will guarantee delivery of the letter to the President. Let me know if you still intend to do this. Also please correct the Presidents last name on the letter. Rajapaksa not Rajapaksha.
All I need is the letter head. I can copy and paste the letter to the letterhead and hand deliver it to the President himself. Or we can wait until the Press Release shows up in the newspapers.
Whatever is decided, we have to act fast; before the 23rd.

Great comment prmo !

I'll comment on that when all this is over ! Hopefully on the 23rd at the Supreme Courts !

UNITY IS STRENGTH !!!!

It's been a real preasure to get to know some proffessionals through this blog when forming our "Unite"

I don't think this is an individual effort. Doing all these was only possible because of the immense backing we have from the fellow subscribers. I'm sorry i can't mention all the names here.

THANK YOU ALL !!!!!!!

Did the subscriber unite send a copy to the most wanted stations TVLANKA and SATnet.

Abey and Hulla should get a differnat taste and we should send a letter of demand to them claiming componsation running to millions for baseless aligations and misleading the public.

Abey is like the junior version of "Godzilla",I dont know how he is going to promote Sri Lankan Tea.

Did anyone see this press release on newspapers?

Lightning_Struck_Tower said...

It was on the sunday times.

hush said...

yeah it was on sunday times FT and more or less the same letter was published, there was also a concise summary of the same in the nation newspaper.Sunday observer, leader, island did not publish.I could not go through the standard or sinhala papers.

bank_dude said...

It's great atleast two newspapers published it. I'm sure it will help us to get a verdict in our favoure.

ROMESH said...

Its realy great that the SUNDAY TIMES published the entire letter without any editing and we have got the message across to the CJ and the concerned parties on the conduct of these officials at the Media Ministry and the heading"Media ministry ignoring CJ orders" hit the correct spot.

The other newspapers must be having concerns of the legal implications as a case is on and they might publish on some edition later, anyhow we have got the message across as the SUNDAY TIMES is one of the or the largest circulating weekend newspaper.

The sunday times is also having a issue with Hulugalle and there is a clarification in the newspaper sent by him and i wonder whether he understands what he is saying.

OUR GRATITUDE TO THE PAPERS WHICH PUBLISHED OUR PRESS RELEASE AMIDST ALL THE PROBLEMS.

HOPE DAILY LANKADEEPA WILL CARRY THE SINHALA PRESS RELEASE TOMORROW.

WE ARE NOT AT A MOMENT FORGETTING THE TOUGH TIME OUR BELOVED MOTHERLAND IS GOING THROUGH.

WE JUST NEED TO PROTECT OUR RIGHTS AS LAW ABIDING CITIZENS OF THIS COUNTRY. IT'S NO POINT IN DRAGGING A SMALL BASELESS CASE ANY FURTHER, FOR THE INTEREST OF FEW INDIVIDUALS PUTTING THE COUNTRY AND 100,000 PEOPLE AT STAKE.

OUR SINCERE HOPE IS THAT HON. CJ WILL COMMAND A LANDMARK RULING ON THE 23RD !!!!!!!!

dini said...

there will be plenty of ball passing day after tomorrow. hopefully the hon. CJ will, as lisura said, take a firm stance on the issue and provide landmark judgement.

unfortunately, in sri lanka, we are not in the habbit of solving problems before the deadline. this is how we are going to become the 'hub of IT'.

looks like there will be good news on 23rd.

CJ has commented that society sould ackowledge supremacy of law as per daily news article today.

I guess that ministries should also respect that for a just and fair society . This also throws a light on the thinking present in SC at the moment.

If such is the thinking, I personally beleive that CBN will be OK on 23rd as CJ will ensure that thinking is represented by deeds as well.
